In this Outside Sales Account Manager role, you will be responsible for retaining and growing revenue by developing long term relationships with a portfolio of assigned accounts. You will connect with key business executives and stakeholders to ensure the long-term success of our customers. We sell regionally and nationwide by cold calling, referrals and over the phone to organizations utilizing state of the art technology solutions to prospective clients. The position requires a blend of growing existing business and nurturing existing relationships by identifying cross selling opportunities and engaging new opportunities.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales quotas for current new business, net new business, and renewals.
- Deliver, sell and market a comprehensive line of Donnellon McCarthy Enterprises products and services in a designated market and/or territory.
- Develop selling strategies for building new accounts and provide exemplary coverage of existing accounts.
- Maintain DME’s commitment to excellence while managing new and existing accounts.
- Possess a college degree or equivalent work experience.
- Additional education in the field of business technology could be considered an advantage.
- History of sales achievements – preferably in an outside/inside sales environment or equivalent documenting to show your success.
- Excellent communicator / interpersonal communications – professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
**Candidates that do well in this position include those with software sales but also those who have sold logistics, business services, office supplies, advertising or any other product/service sold within a sales environment.
